I always start my binding on the side... but having said that I have no good reason for doing it that way. I just do!
I usually start in the middle of the bottom of my project.
I usually start in the middle of a side, so that way when I am ALMOST done and I get back around, I don't have another long side, just a short one so it seems like it goes by faster. lol
I usually start the binding on the bottom/middle.
