I am going out of town for a few days so I pre posted the questions for the next few days.

Question 2

How wide do you cut your binding...
a) 2 inches
b) 2 1/4 inches
c) 2 1/2 inches
d) who knows, its different all the time because...

I vary between 2 and 2.25" for bindings.

I cut 2 1/2 most of the time.

2.5", then I can grab pre-cuts from the bin, or buy matching strip sets if i'm using the connecting threads stuff

I normally cut 2.25 and sew a bit wider than a 1/4 inch seam allowance, but lately I have been thinking 2 inches might be plenty. I hate empty bindings.

2.25 for hand sewn bindings and 2.5 for machine sewn bindings seems to work best for me.
